Blanc Estates Miami deploys the Medibios H₂O₂ micro-nebulization technology validated by hospital infection-prevention teams, independent academic laboratories, and peer-reviewed scientific literature. This page consolidates the public evidence base. Confidential third-party studies and validation reports from individual client facilities are available under NDA to qualified healthcare procurement decision-makers.
The short versionJackson Memorial Hospital in Miami completed a six-month Extended Trial of the Medisystem H₂O₂ technology in their operating rooms with documented 91.6% bacteria reduction and extended its use across all OR suites. Independent validation by the Mario Negri Pharmacological Research Institute in Milan, the SITI public health peer-reviewed journal in Bologna, and neonatal intensive care units at Spedali Civili Brescia and Ospedale San Gerardo Monza. Two peer-reviewed scientific publications (University of Pisa, MDPI 2020; University of North Carolina, AJIC 2013) document the broader literature on hydrogen peroxide vapor disinfection. The same technology is what Blanc Estates Miami deploys today.
In a six-month Extended Trial conducted at the operating rooms of Jackson Memorial Hospital — the largest hospital in Miami-Dade and a teaching hospital of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine — the Medisystem H₂O₂ disinfection technology achieved a documented 91.6% reduction of bacteria on operating room surfaces. Microbiological verification was conducted in-house by the Jackson Memorial Hospital laboratory using RODAC TSA contact plates incubated at 30-35 °C for 72 hours.
| Metric | Before | After Medisystem |
|---|---|---|
| Plates with bacterial growth | 44 (40%) | 10 (9%) |
| Plates exceeding 3 CFU limit | 29 (26.4%) | 5 (3.6%) |
| Plates above 10 CFU (out of limits) | 13 (12%) | 0 (0%) |
"We have completed a trial of the Medisystem, and have great results. After the 6 months Extended Trial period, using 3 Medibios units in the operating rooms, we are working to extend its use to all our operating rooms.
With the reduction of microorganisms and the reduction in the length of time for terminally cleaning the rooms this is a great benefit for the Hospital. We reduce the chances of our patient contact surgical site infection and we can further expand this to cleaning of our hospital rooms with more efficiency and less cost than the UV light system.
According the literature there is an opportunity to reduce the rate of hospital acquired infections and save us in penalties from Medicare."

Reference letter issued June 2018 following a six-month Extended Trial of the Medisystem H₂O₂ disinfection technology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The same technology — manufactured by Amil Care Corp USA — is deployed today in Miami-Dade and Broward by Blanc Estates Miami as authorized Amil Care field partner. Healthcare-facility operations conducted under Amil Care Corp USA federal authorization.
The IRCCS Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri — one of the most prestigious independent pharmacological research institutes in Europe — commissioned an efficacy test of the Medisystem in its animal facility. Third-party microbiological verification was performed by ENVIGO RMS srl, a contract research laboratory.
11 sampling points were monitored, with 5 contaminated using a McFarland 0.1 (10⁶ bacteria/ml) suspension of Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. An additional point was contaminated by leaving dirty animal bedding overnight.
| Sample Point | Pre-Medisystem (CFU) | Post-Medisystem (CFU) |
|---|---|---|
| 1, 4, 8, 9 | >100 | 0 |
| 7, 10, 11 (dirty bedding) | 10-15 | 0 |
| 2, 3, 5, 6 | 1-5 | 0 |
Result: 11 of 11 sampling points returned 0 CFU after Medisystem treatment. Compliance criterion met for all points.
"The Medisystem with Medibios and Evolyse Strong can be considered as a practical and effective disinfection method with good adaptability and ease of use, and can be used with proven efficacy in areas with special sterility needs such as pharmaceutical, research and animal facility."

Researchers from the Bologna Local Health Authority (Azienda USL Bologna) and the Maggiore Hospital of Bologna conducted a controlled comparison between standard sanitization and the Medisystem H₂O₂ technology across six operating rooms. 2,176 microbiological samples were collected (2,094 surface samples + 82 air samples) over a two-week period in two ORs at the Porretta Terme Hospital and four ORs at the Maggiore Hospital of Bologna.
Findings published at the XII National Conference of Public Health, Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SITI), October 2011, by Billi, Panico, Marzola, Roncarati, Frabetti, Ucchino and Farruggia (Aziende USL of Bologna).
Microbial reduction comparison (mean % reduction, T0 vs T1):
| OR Surface | Standard Protocol | Medisystem H₂O₂ + Ag⁺ |
|---|---|---|
| Operating table | load increased | 100% |
| Surgical lamp | load increased | 99% |
| Ventilation grid | load increased | 99.9% |
| Door button | load increased | 100% |
| Center room air | 90.6% | 100% |
The standard cleaning protocol increased microbial load on four critical OR surfaces. The Medisystem H₂O₂ technology achieved near-100% reduction across all surface categories and 100% in air quality.
The Medisystem technology was tested in two of Italy's most sensitive hospital environments:
Test authorized by the Department Head and Head Nurse of the Neonatal ICU. Treatment with 5 ml/m³ Evolyse Strong (12% H₂O₂, 10 ppm silver), 10-minute nebulization, 60-minute dwell time.
Two halls treated (Hall E, 150 m³; Hall C, 190 m³). Same protocol parameters.
Both studies documented 100% reduction of the microbial load still present after the normal sanification procedures.
The hydrogen peroxide vapor technology has demonstrated activity against the most clinically significant hospital-acquired infection pathogens:
